My only problem with this technology is the price. I don’t expect people in developing countries would easily shell out that amount.

This is nice filter for water for safety use.
These filter make my sink water taste great. Excellent product can’t have a good home without one.
Brita systems are much better brand name stuff. This looks like a ripoff.

I wonder if it really filters out that much more than a regular one?

I think even though this new technology may be out of reach for a lot of developing countries, The advances in water filtration systems are driving the cost of water filtration down all the time. And soon enough people with limited incomes will be able to afford clean, safe drinking water.
